Summer Tour 2025 on Film
Just a whole season later—finally getting around to sharing summer tour memories with The Family Crest! I was deep into fall wedding season prep mode, and then said season came around. Finally have some breathing room and just wanted a place to share these photos to live somewhere other than Instagram.
I had a lovely time before the tour visiting my sister in Virginia. We went to the LuRay Caverns which was a fascinating experience. In the first photo, you can see an organ where they would have ballroom events underground! I gave my film camera to my sister to take a few snaps during the show (which is why you can see me in last photo that’s not the selfie).
I especially enjoyed my time in the east coast, having a day off in New York to explore and visit with friends. Our show there at the Mercury Lounge was one of the highlights, along with Chicago, San Francisco, and Seattle! I mostly took photos around those towns and venues. I wish I could reorganize the gallery to show some sort of chronological order, but for some reason it’s not that simple to drag and drop. So I will let it be. I kind of like how it’s all mixed up. Feels more true to how I actually remember this time.
It was a treat seeing friends and family all across the country and I hope to be back out on the road again soon!
